The Garfield Heights City Schools Theater Department, under the overall direction of Mr. Stephen Benjamin, dazzled nearly 30 senior citizens from the community recently with a preview performance of the entertaining production Dream Girls. 

The April 2024 Board of Education meeting was a showcase event for the Garfield Heights City Schools, as the entire district leadership team celebrated eleven members of the senior class of 2024 and the mentors who helped them along their educational paths, with the annual Roses for Teachers celebration. 

The Garfield Heights City Schools would like to extend its congratulations to High School sophomore Marcus Johnson for making it official earlier this week, that he will continue his basketball playing career at The Ohio State University. 

We would like to make you aware of an exciting and fun event taking place on August 2 at the Shawnee Hills GC in the beautiful Metroparks. The GH Education Foundation is sponsoring its first annual golf outing on August 2 at Shawnee Hills. Please find some information for both individual golfers and groups to register to golf and also for corporate sponsors. As always, funds raised from this event will go to support the Foundation's mission of providing college scholarships to graduating seniors at the high school, classroom grants for teachers and community events to promote education in Garfield Heights.
