The show began on a high note, with a special performance by Mayor Matt Burke, who wowed the crowd with his guitar skills and set the stage for a night to remember.
The lineup included an eclectic mix of singers, dancers, and poets, each bringing their unique flair to the stage. After the inspiring performances, the energy reached a crescendo with the announcement of the three finalists.
The winners, determined by an audience vote, were:
1st Place: Ryan Sweet
2nd Place: Jaila Francis
3rd Place: Imani Inkton
Each finalist received a custom-designed 3-D printed trophy, crafted in the school's Maker Space under the guidance of Mr. Reid. In addition to their trophies, the winners were awarded cash prizes in recognition of their outstanding performances.
The talent show was attended by students, parents, and staff, who all contributed to the enthusiastic atmosphere. The senior class expressed their gratitude to everyone who supported the event and shared their excitement about reviving the tradition as an annual highlight.
"This event reminded us all of the incredible creativity and passion within our school community," said Assistant Principal Dr. Price. "We can’t wait to make next year’s show even bigger and better."
