SHOUT-OUT to our GHHS Show Choir - Music Express

March 10-11th Music Express competed in the Marysville Showcase Show Choir Competition. This was without a doubt, the toughest competition of the season.  Unfortunately, Express did not earn a spot in the evening finals, but came away with a "best soloist" award for Desire Goodwin's rendition of Queen Of The Night, The People's Choice Award, and The Spirit Of Show Choir award, given to the group with the best show choir spirit, sportsmanship and all around classy demeanor.  Azlan Smith was chosen as Garfield's most dynamic performer.
In total this season, Express earned Best Set, Best Overall Female Performer, People's Choice, The Spirit of Show Choir, 8 Best Soloist awards, Runner Up of their class, 2 Class Champions, 2 Overall 4th Place trophies, an overall 5th place and a 6th place.  There are still a few opportunities left to catch this show before it's gone forever.
