The Garfield Heights City Schools convened its Parent Academy Committee earlier this week, as a vehicle to positively and successfully impact the overall educational experience in the district. Approximately one dozen individuals met with Superintendent Dr. Richard D. Reynolds, and other administrators, to brainstorm various methods of enhancing the Garfield Heights City Schools culture. Representatives from the Top Dawg initiative and Moms on a Mission were present to share feedback and offer ideas. Already, some exciting steps are being taken to get parents more actively involved in the education of Garfield Heights students. Thank you to the individuals who took time from their schedules to launch this Parent Academy Committee.
