Garfield Heights Students Explore Rittman Orchards on Fall Field Trip
On a beautiful autumn day, students from Garfield Heights High School’s Winter Club and PBIS program enjoyed an outdoor adventure at Rittman Orchards in northeast Wayne County, Ohio. The 125-acre farm provided the perfect setting for students to experience the beauty of nature, with clear blue skies and fresh fall air. Led by teachers Mrs. Harb and Mrs. Peck, the students had the opportunity to pick apples right off the trees and select pumpkins from the patch. They also enjoyed freshly pressed apple cider, followed by a relaxing picnic amidst the farm’s picturesque landscape. The trip offered a chance for students to connect with nature, savoring the seasonal joys of apple picking and pumpkin harvesting while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the orchard.
