The GHCS would like to mightily thank the hundreds of fathers and father-figures who participated in the annual Father's Walk on Thursday, September 19th, that encouraged the accompaniment of our adults with our children for a morning of encouragement. Walking their children to school on this designated day, fathers and father-figures joined hands with their students and also the district to show their support of education. At each building, pledges were posted on the walls, and the father's pledge was shared with all participants, as a way to demonstrate the strong importance that fathers and father-figures play in education. Thank you for taking time from your schedules to show that learning, knowledge, and our school district is important for all members of the school family in the Garfield Heights City Schools. GO BULLDOGS!
