Garfield Heights City Schools to Stay Remote Until At Least November 30th

Due to recent upticks in cases throughout Cuyahoga County, the Garfield Heights City Schools has made
the decision to REMAIN in its REMOTE LEARNING MODEL until after Thanksgiving Break. This reality puts
our TENTATIVE return to in-person learning on Monday, November 30th. Please know that District
Officials will continue closely monitoring the data to review whether or not our Remote Learning
extends beyond this date, but once again, the District will stick with its Remote Learning Model at least
until November 30th. On or around November 9th, some minor changes will begin to be made to classes
in the remote setting to help reduce class sizes and maximize student achievement. More information
about these modifications will be forthcoming in the near future. As always, the most recent Board of
Education Work Session from this past Wednesday is posted online, and we strongly encourage you to
watch the proceedings for more information. In addition, a virtual Town Hall Meeting will be taking
place today, October 26th at 6 p.m. and login information will be available on the website.
The Garfield Heights City Schools is dedicated to sharing information as quickly as possible, in this ever-
changing environment. Thanks for your continued support and GO BULLDOGS!
