The Garfield Heights City Schools will host a State of the Schools and Financial Forum on Wednesday, September 29th at 6 p.m. in the Little Theater of Garfield Heights High School. The presentation will also be live-casted on the GHCS’s YouTube channel. The State of the Schools aligns with the renewed strategic plan for the Garfield Heights City School District and various objectives contained within, including community engagement. The presentation will feature District Superintendent Christopher G. Hanke providing an update on the start of the 2021-2022 School Year along with some key initiatives that are underway in the district. Treasurer Allen D. Sluka will follow with an update regarding District finances. Both Mr. Hanke and Mr. Sluka will then take questions from those in attendance. The State of the Schools is open to the public on September 29th at 6 p.m. in the Little Theater, which is located near the athletics entrance and can also be watched live-streamed at this time on YouTube.
