On Thursday, September 23rd, schools throughout the county will participate in the annual Fathers Walk. On that day, fathers, grandfathers, and other father figures are urged to walk their children to school in order to show support for family and education. The Walk is a part of the Cuyahoga County Fatherhood Initiative as well as a nationwide initiative to show how important it is for fathers to be involved in the lives of their children. We participated last year and we plan to do so again this year.
