The Garfield Heights City Schools would like to thank News5Cleveland’s Katie Ussin and her team for recently visiting various buildings in the district and showcasing some of the important strides being made by students and staff. With stops at Elmwood Elementary School, the High School and Central Office, the WEWS news team showcases in its story, which is linked nearby, the strides
made in matters of positive behavioral recognition and mental health awareness. On display was Elmwood’s Gold Medal from the State of Ohio along with the efforts of students who recently participated in the mental health summit at Rocket Mortgage Field House.
