Jazz Band Entertains Senior Citizens for Saint Patrick's Day

The Jazz Band at Garfield Heights High School recently took their amazing performing talents on the road, visiting senior citizens during their annual Saint Patrick's Day celebration, and setting a positive, tuneful mood for all! With an amazing group of approximately 24 high school students, ranging from 9th through 12th grade, our Jazz Band prompted toe-taps, hand-claps, and swaying to the saucy songs and melodies of this easy-going musical performance. Under the direction of Mr. Devlin Pope, the longtime creative leader of the Jazz Band, students demonstrated their percussion, woodwind, horns, guitar, and rhythm to more 60 senior citizens, who wore green attire for Saint Patrick's Day. In all, a great morning of community relationship and intergenerational love and support. Go Bulldogs!
