Heroes League Game Day Comes to William Foster Elementary School

Approximately 200 students at William Foster Elementary School participated in the effort to launch a new online learning platform at the building called Heroes League Game Day, whereby students can learn valuable life skills on their Chromebooks. With an energetic and engaging assembly on Friday, May 5th, Heroes League was showcased on a live stream screen to show students exactly what learning opportunities are available, including leadership, entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and more. Superintendent Dr. Richard Reynolds joined principals Jill Frimel and Paul Glazer in leading chants of heroism among the students participating. From there, a handful of students then participated in an initial log-in opportunity, to begin exploring their own avatars and educational opportunities on their respective Chromebooks. Thank you to the Heroes League Game Day representatives in attendance, and we look forward to future online skills-based learning means among our student body. Go Bulldogs!
