Board of Education Vacancy
Due to a resignation, the Garfield City School’s Board of Education has a member vacancy as of January 19, 2021. The Board is now accepting letters of interest as a potential board member from eligible residents who desire consideration to fill the vacancy through the completion of the unexpired term that ends December 31, 2021. Interested eligible residents must deliver a Letter of Interest and Qualifications as a potential Board Member addressed to Board President Nichelle Daniels, c/o Treasurer Al Sluka, 5640 Briarcliff Drive, Garfield Heights, OH 44125, before 12:00 p.m., January 29, 2021, and be available for interview by Board of Education members during a special meeting held during the week of February 1st. Dates to be determined. The individual chosen to fill this vacancy will be appointed and sworn in during the Board’s Special Meeting on February 8, 2021.
