The GHCS thanks all of the individuals, families, community leaders, vendors, partners, students, and staff who officially kicked off the 2025-2026 school year at its annual Back to School Rally on Saturday, August 16th. With the intention to welcome back students, our school buildings hosted tables with activities and fun giveaways, partners such as the Library, local churches, the Career Center and others provided school items and information. Supplies were generously donated so that students can have an outstanding first few weeks of school. Superintendent Dr. Richard D. Reynolds, Board President Millette King, and others addressed participants on the newly renovated stadium turf, and families had an overall sense of fun. School starts in the Garfield Heights City Schools on Friday, August 22nd. Thank you to all of our participants who made the Back to School Rally an awesome afternoon!
