The Garfield Heights City Schools is pleased to share the encouraging news about our improvements on the recently released State Report Card from The Ohio Department of Education. The district has improved to an overall rating of 3 Stars, which means that we have met State Standards, and have improved from last year's score of 2 Stars. This enhanced result on the State Report Card is the direct result of our collective commitment to student growth, particularly in the areas of Progress, Graduation Rate, and College, Career, Workforce and Military Preparedness.
By focusing intentionally on data, instructional practices, and a student centered academic approach our teachers, administrators, and staff have worked tirelessly to create better outcomes for our children. Their dedication has made this growth possible—and we are determined to keep moving forward.
