Building Joy, Giving Back: December Celebrations Across Our District
December was filled with joy, celebration, and Bulldog pride as students across our district enjoyed a season full of connection, creativity, and holiday cheer.
Annual Winter Fest (PreK–5)
Our youngest Bulldogs kicked off the holiday season at Winter Fest, where students in PreK through 5th grade enjoyed a fun-filled experience complete with gifts (toys), festive holiday games, and a cozy hot cocoa bar. Smiles, laughter, and holiday spirit filled the room as students celebrated together in a warm and welcoming environment.
Holiday Band Concert & National Recognition
Music took center stage this month with a wonderful Holiday Band Concert performed by our talented high school band. We are especially proud to share that our very own Band Director Brett Dawson represented our district on a national stage by participating in the New Year’s Day Rose Parade as part of the Band Directors Marching Band—an incredible honor that reflects the excellence of our music program.
Middle School PBIS Ice Cream Social
Middle school students were rewarded for their positive behavior and engagement with a PBIS Ice Cream Social. This sweet celebration recognized students for meeting expectations and continuing to demonstrate responsibility, respect, and readiness throughout December.
Celebrating Student Achievement
We are thrilled to congratulate Marcus Johnson, who was nominated for Male High School Athlete of the Year. This recognition highlights his dedication, hard work, and leadership both on and off the field.
Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Service
We would also like to recognize Ms. Saunders, who assisted in supporting the National Honor Society Adopt-A-Family initiative this Christmas. Through this effort, we were able to bring holiday cheer to life and make a meaningful impact for a family in need. Acts of service like these truly reflect the heart of our school community.
