The Garfield Heights City Schools officially concluded the 2025-2026 school year on Wednesday, June 3rd, and at each of the buildings throughout the district, goodbyes were shared, fun outdoor events were underway, and anticipation for summer break emerged. At Elmwood Elementary School, a field day event for both grades, packed with interactive physical activities took place. Teachers oversaw relay races, potato sack jumps, obstacle courses and more. At the Middle School, the nearby field was used for activities and teachers shared popsicles with the junior high students. The Garfield Heights City Schools would like to congratulate students, commend our staff, and thank our parents and community for another successfully completed school year.
