The Garfield Heights City Schools commends the summer learners in the community who took advantage of the opportunities to stretch and grow during the month of June 2026. Bulldog students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd enjoyed some extra educational time at Elmwood Elementary School which culminated in a fun carnival on the very last day, Thursday, June 26th. Students in grades 6th-7th-8th participated in classroom education at Maple Leaf Elementary School. Supplemental learning chances also took place such as the opportunity for 3rd grades to improve their OST state tests and improve their scores. Overall, learning at these various grade levels made the Garfield Heights City Schools home to education, during the summer months. Great job to students and staff and thank you the families who participated! Stay safe and cool this summer!
