Congratulations to William Foster Elementary School, who was recently honored at a ceremony at the Northeast Ohio ESC for being a PBIS Red Ribbon award winner. PBIS, which stands for Positive Behavior Supports Intervention, awards school districts who go out of their way to elevate the importance of positive behavior, tracking metrics, and helping elevate the overall climate of a school. The Red Ribbon Award is equivalent to a silver medal. Miss Jade Woodson, principal of William Foster, accepted the honor at a recent function recognizing all local schools. A total of 119 schools applied in NE Ohio, and William Foster was among 99 who received an award, and 36 who earned the Red Ribbon recognition. Congratulations to everyone at William Foster Elementary School for achieving this high PBIS recognition.
