In what has become an increasingly important connection between the schools and parents in the Garfield Heights City Schools, the district recently hosted its 2nd annual Bring Your Parents to School Day on October 22nd. Hosted in various ways at different buildings, Elmwood chose to use the morning as an opportunity to share important class and initiative information with parents. The High School provided light refreshments for students and parents during the breakfast hour, and once again for lunch, before and after moms and dads attended class with their Bulldogs. The message behind Bring Your Parents to School Day is to underscore the valuable relationship between students, parents, and the school district. When all three are strong, greater student achievement can take place. Thank you to all parents who attended!
