Garfield Heights City Schools was filled with spooky surprises, sweet treats, and plenty of Bulldog spirit on Saturday, October 24, 2026, as our PreK–5th grade students and families gathered at Garfield Heights Middle School for this year's Spooktacular Celebration!
With over 700 guests in attendance, the celebration brought together students, families, staff, and community members for an unforgettable afternoon of fall festivities!
From the moment families entered the building, they were greeted by festive decorations, spooky hallways, and a little fog in the air, setting the scene for an afternoon of fall magic! Our little Bulldogs arrived dressed in their cutest and most creative costumes, ready to enjoy a day filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of treats!
More than 20 community vendors and volunteers joined in the festivities, decorating tables and passing out candy as students made their way through the school, spreading smiles and fall cheer around every corner!
The excitement continued in the gymnasium, where bounce houses, a magician, a DJ, face painting, pumpkin decorating and fun-filled games kept the celebration going! The sweet smells of popcorn, cotton candy, and warm apple cider added to the festive atmosphere, filling the gym with all the wonderful sights, sounds, and flavors of fall.
But the true magic of the afternoon was seeing our Bulldog community come together! Families, staff, volunteers, and community members shared smiles, laughter, and special moments while creating lasting memories for our youngest Bulldogs.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible community vendors, volunteers, families, and everyone who helped make this year's Spooktacular Celebration a success! Your generosity, participation, and support helped provide a safe, welcoming, and fun-filled experience for our students.
We are grateful for every helping hand and every smiling face that made this celebration so special!
