The Garfield City School District has an unexpected Board of Education vacancy as of June 30, 2026. The Board is now accepting letters of interest as a potential board member from eligible residents who desire consideration to fill the vacancy through the completion of the unexpired term that ends December 31, 2027. Interested eligible residents must deliver a Letter of Interest and Qualifications as a potential Board Member addressed to Board Vice President Thandeka Cox c/o Treasurer Phillip Oko, 5640 Briarcliff Drive, Garfield Heights, OH 44125, before 12:00 p.m., June 15th, 2026, and be available for interview by Board of Education members during a special meeting held on June 22nd, 2026.
