Boys and girls bowling will begin practicing every Tuesday, starting October 12th at 5:30 at Red Circle Lanes on State Road in Parma. This is for anyone that wants to join the team, no experience is required!


State of the Schools and Finances Presentation

September 29, 2021

Due to the COVID infection rates in Cuyahoga County and Ohio, the Garfield Heights City Schools is extending its requirement for all students and staff to be masked for an additional five weeks, through October 29. The district will continue to monitor infection numbers and collaborate with the Cuyahoga County Board of Health on this matter. Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe!
homecoming dance

Homecoming Dance -- October 2, 2021 7-10pm

At this time our homecoming dance is still on, but due to covid restrictions and contact tracing, there will be no outside guests allowed to attend. Each student will be able to purchase their ticket using their student ID number through our online ticketing system (more info will be coming soon and No tickets will be sold at the door) Masks will be mandatory during the entire dance.

Shelter in Place

Shelter in Place at the High School has been lifted

Due to unauthorized visitors, at 12:41 pm the high school was placed in shelter in place and this was lifted at 12:52 pm. GHPD worked with building administration to ensure the safety and security of all students and staff.
