On Wednesday, May 7th at 6pm all of the Middle School and High School bands of Garfield Heights will come together at the Garfield Heights High School to perform a Festival of Bands! For the first time in many years we are hosting a performance where you will get a taste of all bands from the 6th grade to the 12th in one evening. You will hear many themes and musical styles that I'm sure you're familiar with as well as many that may be new and exciting to you! There will even be small ensembles performing as well as a combined piece where you can hear 7th-12th grade band students play together! 

What is new about this performance is that we will have 2 stages of performances. There will be one stage in the cafeteria of the High School and the other will be in the PAC at the High School. So when you arrive, check the schedule and feel free to walk between stages to hear all of the various talents being showcased. Admission is just a voluntary monetary donation. 

During the performances in the cafeteria we will have basket raffles as well as selling other various items in order to fundraise for our program. Please bring cash so that you can participate in those events as well! 

Please come out and support the band students Wednesday, May 7th at the Festival of Bands! They have all grown so much and have worked very hard. We would love to have you join us. See you there!
