Local Scholarships:
Deadline: March 7 AT 3:00 pm.
Please read the Instruction sheet and make sure you meet the criteria for each scholarship before you begin the application. All applications with the ATTACHED essay must be submitted by March 7th AT 3:00 pm. No late submissions will be accepted.
DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME AT THE TOP OF THE PAPER OR IN THE ESSAY. JUST INCLUDE YOUR STUDENT NUMBER AT THE TOP OF THE ESSAY.

Everyone should submit the General Application and check the scholarships that you meet the requirements for.
Make sure you put your student number on the top of your essay sheet on each application - do not type your name on the essay.

-Joann Nowak Memorial Scholarship (All Can Apply);
-Maryanne Thompson Nowak Scholarship (Must have a 3.0 or above)
-Emerald Credit Union (Must be a member of the Emerald Credit Union)
-Deb Lea Scholarship (Must be on a 504 or IEP)
-Charles Blaugrund Memorial Scholarship (All can Apply)
-Garfield Heights Foundation Association (ALL can Apply)
-Campbell Opportunity Scholarship (All can apply)
-Class of '74 (All can Apply)
2. The following scholarships require separate essays so please make sure you are addressing the specific prompt for each essay and that you meet the requirements for each scholarship:Please make sure you meet the requirements for each scholarship!
Please fill out all parts of the application for which you are applying, upload the essay that addresses the prompt required for the essay and where applicable the letter(s) of recommendation required before submitting. Incomplete applications will not be sent to the organization to be considered for the scholarship.
3. Please make sure you upload your essay to each scholarship so they do not get separated in printing and type your student number (NOT YOUR NAME) on your essay.
4. ALL applications and attached essays must be submitted NO LATER THAN 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 7th 2025. Don't miss this deadline. We CANNOT ACCEPT any applications for consideration after this date and time. If you are absent that day, make sure you get these materials submitted prior to the deadline. Remember, you can always turn them in before the deadline. DO NOT turn them into the Main Office. They MUST be submitted through the senior google classroom.
5. Please be aware that scholarship committees rely heavily on a well-developed essay and this information is often used when selecting the recipient. Please keep in mind that information written in the essay may be shared when the committee presents the award, should your essay be selected. If you are uncomfortable having that information shared please indicate that on the cover sheet.
