Garfield Heights Seniors Receive Graduation Packets and Awards at Annual Senior Breakfast

Garfield Heights High School seniors gathered for a memorable milestone this morning as they attended the annual Senior Breakfast—an event that marks the beginning of their final chapter before graduation. The occasion served as more than just a meal; it was a pivotal moment filled with recognition, reflection, and vital end-of-year preparation.

Students picked up their end-of-year packets, which included essential graduation information such as ceremony details, final exam schedules, and senior project deadlines. These packets will serve as their guide through the remaining weeks of school and ensure a smooth transition toward commencement.

During the breakfast, the school recognized outstanding student achievement through the distribution of Senior Departmental Awards, celebrating excellence across subjects such as English, Math, Science, and the Arts. Teachers and department heads were present to personally acknowledge students' hard work and dedication over the past four years.

Adding a layer of insight and encouragement, Officer Darryn Zupancic addressed the Class of 2025, sharing practical advice and expectations for their upcoming senior year. He offered thoughtful reminders about making wise choices during end-of-year events and using their final summer as students to prepare meaningfully for life after high school.

The event also included an important presentation by the High School Administrative Team and Guidance Staff, who walked seniors through the senior project procedures—a capstone experience that requires planning, execution, and presentation. Students were also given a detailed review of their final exam schedule, helping them plan and manage their time effectively.

This morning’s breakfast was more than a tradition; it was a launchpad for the Class of 2025 as they prepare to celebrate the conclusion of one journey and the beginning of another. With graduation just around the corner, Garfield Heights seniors are one step closer to crossing the stage and embracing the next phase of their lives.
