High School Theater Department to Preview Two Upcoming Plays This School Year

The High School Theater Department will be performing two productions this school year, Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, in the fall and springtime, respectively. As part of the overall generosity and promotion for the plays, Director of Theater Arts Mr. Stephen Benjamin and his team will be hosting two preview events which have been open to senior citizens throughout the community. On Thursday, November 9, 2017, senior citizens will be welcomed to the Center for Performing Arts to watch a preview performance of The Odd Couple. In the spring, on Thursday, April 12, 2017, senior citizens will once again be invited back to watch a preview of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. These preview performances give Mr. Benjamin’s students a final opportunity for a dress rehearsal while at the same time providing lively entertainment for our community’s Greatest Generation. The GHCS thanks Mr. Benjamin and the Theater Arts Department for their willingness to host these sneak preview performances for senior citizens.
