K-Kids Club Visit with Canine Lifeline

K-Kids Club Visit with Canine Lifeline

Lead by our K-Kids Club students, Elmwood Elementary School participated in the 2nd annual school-wide event to collect donations for the “Canine Lifeline” organization for the past two weeks. Canine Lifeline is a non-profit organization run totally by volunteers to rescue dogs and care for them until they can find suitable and loving homes. They hold adoption events throughout Northeast Ohio at many of the Petco locations.

On Friday, May 13, 2016, some of the volunteers from Canine Lifeline came for a visit to Elmwood as the K-Kids Club students provided the dogs with loving playtime. The K-Kids Club students then presented all of the donations collected by Elmwood students, families and staff. Elmwood was able to collect a variety of much-needed items such as dog treats, dog food, dog toys, many grooming and feeding supplies, and blankets as well as monetary donations.

Thank you to all who donated! Canine Lifeline is very thankful for our kindness and truly appreciates our help.
