The Garfield Heights City Schools proudly celebrates the month of February as Black History Month, and while a variety of events and activities will be taking place over the next 30 days, please mark your calendars for Thursday, February 29th at 7 p.m. for a special performance. The District has once again partnered with the Mojuba Dance Collective for their Cultural Immersion experience that blends students and staff into one performance at the Center for Performing Arts at the High School. This year, our message reinforces the idea that Black History is American History, and then when the community comes together in learning and understanding, true connections can take place. You must register to attend, so please use this link to let the GHCS know that you will be in attendance. Keep on the lookout for more ways that the district will be supporting Black History Month throughout February 2024.
