Alumni Update - Joe Schillero - 2007 Graduate
Joe Schillero received his Bachelors and Master Degrees from The University of Akron. He spent 3.5 years as the Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness for Campus Recreation at Ohio University and is currently the Assistant Director of Fitness & Wellness Services at the University of Cincinnati. He oversees fitness facility staff, personal training, group fitness, nutrition services, special events, and various programs on campus.
Joe has competed in powerlifting for over 8 years and recently began competing in Strongman competitions. He also writes a monthly column for EliteFTS, an online strength & conditioning publication, and does a great deal of work surrounding mental health and physical well-being. He currently lives in Cincinnati, OH with his 5-year-old pitbull, Vito.
