RE:  PSAT Test

Accelerated English 11, Honors English IV, and Honors English III  students were recently given the opportunity to register for the PSAT test in their English classes.  For many students, the PSAT Test is the first step on the road to college.  By taking this test, students can practice for the SAT; enter scholarship competitions; tell colleges to send them information about programs, activities and financial aid; and find out if they have the reading and math skills necessary for success in college.

This year’s exam will be administered on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, 1st period through 5th period.  Juniors should report directly to the High school cafeteria, and students currently enrolled in Honors English III (ONLY) are to report the Library PROMPTLY at 7:30 a.m.

Any Junior who is not currently enrolled in an Accelerated or Honors English IV course, must  register for the PSAT  no later than  Thursday,  January  21, 2021. There will be a sign up sheet available under the class of  2022, Google classroom as of Friday,January 15(There are limited spots available ).

  • The deadline to register for any student enrolled in Regular English is:  Thursday, January 21st

  • This is a national test, so there will be NO MAKE-UP DATE  if you miss the exam.
