The Freshman Class of Hathaway Brown School collaborated with the Fourth & Fifth Grade Students at Maple Leaf Elementary School to create a Smile Box full of cards and letters of hope and motivation for Hayden.  Hayden is an amazing four-year-old girl who is battling cancer. This is a wonderful project was led by Hathaway Brown Freshman, Bailey Hodge who mobilized her classmates to “gather their supplies and design a handcrafted card using sharpies, crayons and paper, ribbon and other embellishments”.  “When I learned about Hayden, I wanted to extend a heartfelt expression of kindness and bring a smile to her face.   These cards were a simple way to lift her spirits and let her know we support her journey!”
