The Garfield Heights City Schools is proud to participate in the Stay in Game partnership with the Cleveland Browns - Stay in the Game Network!
The purpose of the program is to help increase attendance at school which promotes student success! As we continue this new program we want to share our first-quarter updates:
  • Cleveland Browns game tickets were awarded to 5 lucky families as well as 10 students at the high school who were all able to attend a Browns game.
  • Stay in the Game t-shirts have been distributed districtwide, and we have seen both staff and students wearing them during school.
  • Banners and yard signs have been placed throughout the district.
  • The district also received autographed footballs, posters, socks, and other give-away items for students who have shown monthly perfect attendance and first quarter perfect attendance.
  • The district has formed a Stay in the Game committee that meets monthly, looking at district attendance and focusing on targeted grade levels.
The goal for the district is to have all buildings and students at a 93% attendance rate at the end of the school year! Thank you for everyone's participation in this program.  GO BULLDOGS!!!
