CONGRATULATIONS Justin! Justin has been featured as the CVCC Student Connection Spotlight this month!
Justin Bhuller is a senior from Garfield Heights High School enrolled in CVCC’s Sports Medicine Exercise Science (SMES) program, instructed by Mr. Fahey. After experiencing a sports injury of his own, Justin was able to see the benefits of the sports medicine field. He has a passion for helping others as well as sports; the SMES program was a great area to
pursue all of his interests. Justin really likes the hands-on activities the program provides, especially the wrapping and tapping labs; he is even able to practice on his fellow classmates and teammates. Justin also really likes learning about the interworking’s of the human anatomy, though the biology component of the class has been quite challenging.
CVCC has provided a great avenue to meet others from surrounding school districts. Justin really values being able to engage with others as well as learn from his instructor, Mr. Fahey. Justin specifically really appreciates that Mr. Fahey has industry experiences, as he is teaching Justin and his classmates what he knows best.
Outside of academics, Justin is involved in soccer at Garfield Heights High School and works at a local pet supplies store. When Justin is not focusing on school, sports, or work, he enjoys listening to music and indulging in his hobby of collecting sneakers.
Looking ahead, Justin recently committed to joining the Marine Corp. and will be leaving next summer for four years. After his time in the Marine Corp., he plans on going to college and pursuing a career as an athletic trainer or chiropractor. The sky is the limit for Justin, keep up the amazing work!
