FALL 2022
Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year! The entire staff at William Foster Elementary School is excited to return to the new school year, and our dedicated team is ready to push them to their fullest potential, all while having a little bit of fun. This year, William Foster students will be expected to demonstrate growth- no excuses! Interventions and enrichments will be embedded into daily learning. In addition to classroom materials, the entire building will focus on being one team, working together to
help everyone thrive. This always involves supporting social and emotional well-being to become leaders
with real-world skills.
Students should remember to be prompt and be prepared. You will be expected to accept responsibility, to work hard, and to show respect. Family is encouraged to help with attendance. It matters! We are working hard to STAY in the GAME. Please remember that inappropriate behaviors have consequences, but our door is always open to you. Working together as a team, we will be prepared to meet this year with success.
Please be sure to check back to our website and social media for milestone events, such as our PBIS Gold Celebration, Orientation Day before opening day, and our Back to School Kick-Off on Tuesday, August 23rd. Finally, be aware of the new school hours… all students should be in their classrooms by 8:45 a.m. when the tardy bell rings and afternoon dismissal will be at 3:05 p.m. Students can enter the building as early as 8:15 a.m., but please, no earlier! This is being done to help enhance safety and traffic flow in and around the parking areas of the building. Thank you in advance for your flexibility!
Traffic flow rules and patterns will be enforced, and your help to keep students from being dropped off in front of school or bus turnaround is much appreciated. As always, please drive slowly!
Let’s make the 2022-2023 school year a successful one! Go Bulldogs!
