Perfect Season! Team Record 21-0!
The Garfield Heights Middle School wrestling team took 1st place this weekend at the 2nd Annual Bulldog Dual Wrestling Tournament. This marked the end to their undefeated 21-0 perfect season. The Bulldogs defeated Parma Shiloh in the finals 60-36. On the road to the finals, the Bulldogs defeated Maple 48-32, Bedford 72-12, Revere 37-18, and Avon Lake 56-36. Other participating teams included Mayfield, Mentor Shore, Cleveland Hts. Roxboro, Cleveland Hts. Monticello, and South Euclid Memorial. Zach McCain was honored with the teams Outstanding Wrestler Award at the Tournament. Zach is undefeated this season with a personal record of 20-0. Congratulations wrestlers, Coach Brad Farmer, and Coach Anthony Spooner on a terrific season.
