Congratulations to Garfield Heights High School Alumni Mike Chamberlin! Mike is a graduate of the Class of 2001 where he developed his initial love of music. His love for the baritone saxophone has taken him to the University of Maryland, where he received his Ph.D. in Musical Arts - Jazz. After enlisting in the United States Army in 2013, he is now a Staff Sargeant and a member of the United States Army Field Band. In October, Mike auditioned for and was welcomed into the Jazz Ambassadors and has been playing concerts around the country since then.
Mike will be featured in a free concert this evening at the Akron Civic Theater at 7pm. Congratulations, Mike! We are so proud of our Bulldogs!
