Cleveland Clinic eXpressions Winners!

Another yay from GHHS Art Department...

Over 1,700 art, language, and math projects from 61 schools were submitted last month as a part of eXpressions.  The results for art are in.

An esteemed panel of art and science professionals used four criteria to evaluate each art submission: interpretation, presentation, creativity, and initiative.

The judges awarded four levels of special recognition for submissions. In descending order they are: Blue Ribbon, Red Ribbon, White Ribbon, and Honorable Mention.

The GHHS art department had many amazing submissions and we are proud to congratulate Armando Galvez who won a White Ribbon for his artwork, Mechanical Analysis and Deanne Smith who won a Red Ribbon for her artwork, Depression.

This year’s award recipients for eXpressions™ will receive a gift card, they will be featured in eXpressions™ catalogue, on the eXpressions website, and they will be displayed in the 2018 eXpressions™ Art, Language, and Math eXhibition at the Global Center for Health Innovation. The opening, including a formal program and reception, will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018
