A world without Twitter would be like the world before television. Or the world before radio. Or the world before the Newspaper. It’s possible. The company recently announced that it is losing money fast. It’s not making any money.
Twitter was once a hot social media website, but it is losing popularity. But what everyone is failing to realize is just how important Twitter is for the world. Twitter is mainly used for people to communicate with their friends on a social level but it is also used for spreading around important news and information at a quick pace. Many people and organizations use it.
Without Twitter, how will important news travel around the world so fast? How will teenagers, celebrities and journalist be petty? Even our new president Donald Trump has been taking advantage of the high power of Twitter by tweeting many things about the election, his thoughts, and criticising other people.
So I believe that Twitter should be able to be sold and yet stay in business since it holds such a high place in the industry. It has the ability to get news known all around the world with just a tweet.
