GHCS Street Clean-Up Was a Rousing Success!

Students from elementary school through High School participated in a Community Street Clean-up activity on Friday, April 20, 2018. This event also coincided with National Earth Day! Students in the Kiwanis K-Club at William Foster and Maple Leaf Elementary Schools, as well as the Kiwanis Builders Club at the Middle School and the Varsity Football team at the High School all came out in full force to "Clean Up The Streets."  Not only did this activity provide students with an opportunity to take pride in their community, but it also gave them a chance to give back and show respect for their streets.

Thank you goes out to Ms. Toya Owens-Hodge, coordinator at Maple Leaf, Ms. Jowell Gray, coordinator at  William Foster, Mr. Ryan Schuman and Ms. Megan Higginbotham, coordinators at Garfield Heights Middle School, and Mr. Lance Reisland, Head Varsity Football Coach at Garfield Heights High School.
