Maple Leaf and Elmwood K-Clubs Brainstorm With GHMS Kiwanis Builder's Club

On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, the Executive Board for the K-Club from Maple Leaf and Elmwood joined with the Garfield Heights Middle School Kiwanis Builders Club to participate in a Leadership Luncheon hosted by Ms.Toya Owens. The students discussed the current concerns facing students and, with the assistance of Ryan Schuman and Jennifer Huncharek, they brainstormed strategies to combat the identified concerns. The advisors for the K-Club are Mrs. Toya Owens-Hodge at Maple Leaf, Mrs. Jen Huncharek at Elmwood, and Mr. Ryan Schuman and Mrs. Megan Higginbotham at the Middle School.
