History – Students are creating a poster on a territory from Westward Expansion.  

Language Arts – Students are reading "Flowers for Algernon"

Science – Students are wrapping up the unit on noncontact forces.  They will be spending the next 5 school days creating an electromagnet and competing in a class scrapyard challenge to see who can collect the most metal in 1 minute.  

Math – 

Financial Literacy - Students are designing their own currency.

Our roller skating field trip was cancelled due to lack of interest.  We have scheduled a team day for Friday April 13th.

The Kalahari trip originally scheduled for Monday, March 12, 2018 has been rescheduled to Friday, May 11, 2018. If your student cannot attend on the new date, please contact us immediately. Students will be expected to maintain good, positive behavior until Friday, May 11, 2018 to be eligible to attend. This means that they cannot get a referral, be placed in alternative school or IHP, in addition to meeting the behavioral expectations in the classroom and hallway. If a student is removed from the trip, they will receive a refund and the parent will be made aware that the money is in the student's possession.
