TEAM PRIDE - FEBRUARY 2018
Team Pride kicked off February with a dual celebration of Black History Month and National Read Aloud Day by reading the nationally acclaimed young adult book The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Teachers are continuing to read a curated version of the book aloud in both Social Studies and ELA classes.
Team Pride Intervention Specialist, Mrs. Saluan had her baby, Azlynn, on January 29. Congratulations to the Saluans!
Students in Mrs. Routh’s room started using grading stations this week; they learned about the nation’s first political parties and then they checked their own work before checking in with Mrs. Routh. This allowed students to get immediate feedback and have one-on-one time with Mrs. Routh.
