On behalf of William Foster Elementary School, I would like to thank the William Foster Community for making the 2017-2018 school year a success. Their efforts have enriched the learning environment here through numerous and valuable events that emphasize family life as well as academics, such as Donuts for Dads, Muffins for Moms, All Pro Dads, PTA meetings, Math Nights, Literacy Night, Awards Night and our End of the year showcase. The attendance and enthusiasm for these events speak volumes about the dedication our community has for our children. As the 2018-2019 school year approaches in the fall, I anticipate these success to continue.
To the children who will be leaving William Foster this year, we hope that students remember to show PAWS no matter where life takes them, to be prompt and prepared for anything, to accept responsibility, to work hard in everything you do, to show respect to all, regardless of their surroundings. We encourage the students to continue their hard work over the summer, so they remember what they have learned. Most importantly, we ask them to read, read, read! Just a few minutes every day can make a huge difference in the fall and continue the successes of this year.
I hope all students, parents, and staff have a wonderful summer, and thank you for a great year. I look forward to seeing everyone in August.
